An Istanbul Bosphorus tour is a popular way to see the city from the water and learn about its rich history and culture. The Bosphorus is a strait that runs through Istanbul, separating the European and Asian sides of the city. It connects the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara and is an important shipping route.
During a Bosphorus tour, you will typically board a boat and cruise along the strait, passing by landmarks such as the Dolmabahce Palace, the Beylerbeyi Palace, the Bosphorus Bridge, the Ortakoy Mosque, and the Rumeli Fortress.
The Dolmabahce Palace, was the last residence of the Ottoman Sultans, it is a grand palace with a mix of Ottoman and European architectural styles.
The Beylerbeyi Palace, is a beautiful summer residence of Ottoman Sultans, it features impressive interiors, a collection of Ottoman ceramics and a charming garden.
The Bosphorus Bridge, is the first bridge that connects Europe and Asia over the Bosphorus.
The Ortakoy Mosque, is a charming mosque on the European shore of the Bosphorus, it is surrounded by restaurants and cafes.
The Rumeli Fortress, is a medieval castle that was built by Mehmet the Conqueror in 1452, it offers a breathtaking view of the Bosphorus and the city.
The Golden Horn is a natural harbor in Istanbul, Turkey, that separates the European and Asian sides of the city. It is a major tourist attraction and is home to several historical sites, including the Eyüp Sultan Mosque, the Galata Tower, and the Suleimaniye Mosque. The area is also known for its lively nightlife and delicious seafood. The Golden Horn Bridge and the Galata Bridge connect the two sides of the city over the water.
Boat starts at 12:00 am. First we visit the Golden Horn for 30 minutes.
Then we move by the European shore of the Bosphorus up to the second bridge (Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge)
We take a break at Rumeli fortress for one hour!
Then we come back by the Asian shore where we will have the second break, 30 mins near Beylerbeyi palace, after that the come back Eminonu by the Asian shore.
Our tours finish near the Spice Bazaar at 3:30 pm.
